| This is a 7 meter antenna we installed for Satellite Communications Systems Inc. at their Opalocka, Florida teleport. We deinstalled this antenna from the Key West Naval Station, reconditioned it, and then reinstalled it at the teleport for SCSI. I really enjoyed this job because it is my favorite type of work. When you are relocating an antenna, after you deinstall it, you have the antenna parts and placement fresh in your mind for when you reinstall it. When I finished with this antenna, if you looked at it, you might think it was a new one installed. I love giving old antennas a new life. |
